Army Museum Bandiana

Volunteer

The Museum has a great team of unpaid volunteers who use their skills to build, paint, bolt, repair, weld, solder, sew, catalogue, sort, saw, photograph, research, design, sell, produce media, guide visitors, and a whole lot of other things. All necessary training and equipment is supplied by the Army or the Museum Foundation (and no you won’t have to go to Kapooka). So if you think that you may have something to contribute, simply click on the Volunteer Interest Form below, fill in your details, then click Submit at the bottom of the form and we will be in touch with you.

Student Placement

If you’re a Uni student studying artifact curation, conservation, history, museum technology, multimedia production, customer relations, or in fact any subject that you believe could be enhanced through a short term placement in our Museum – then why not consider us? This is a free service which should look good on your resume if applying for a job once you have graduated. We look at providing placements to motivated individuals on a mutually beneficial basis.

If you would like to discuss this with us, then please click on the Possible Student Placement button below and fill in your details. Then click Submit at the bottom of the form and we will get in touch with you to discuss the possibilities.
